        Q. Why does God allow us to suffer?

• to help us hunger for heaven - 1 Peter 4:12
• to teach us humility, and to help us desperately rely on God

“...but this happened so we would not trust in ourselves but in God, who raises people
from the dead.” 2 Corinthians 1:8-9 NCV

God is strongest when we are weakest.
